"Americans who voted for President Donald Trump in the 2016 election
had about the same level of support for him a year and a half later,
according to the results of a new poll.
Key figures in the Pew Research Center survey:
63 percent of Trump voters said in November 2016 they had a "very
warm" feeling about Trump, while 24 percent said they had a "somewhat
warm" feeling about him.
In March 2018, 62 percent of Trump voters had a "very warm"
feeling about the president. 20 percent had a "somewhat warm" feeling
88 percent of Americans who voted for Democrat Hillary Clinton had
"very cold" feelings about Trump in March.
A combined 70 percent of Americans who voted for Libertarian
candidate Gary Johnson or Green Party candidate Jill Stein had "very
cold" feelings about Trump in March.
Recent polls show Trump's approval rating is on the rise despite
constant pushback from Democrats and negative reporting about his
administration in the media."
