The goal of socialism is to pay my rent and my auto insurance and $40 a week for booze and cigars. Health insurance is free at the VA. Groceries are about $30 a week but I shop at swap meets and get groceries for half price. I get 6 breakfast rolls for a dollar and a loaf of bread for another dollar, and 6 cups of instant coffee for another dollar. I love bargains.

My supercilious response to DavidP was my way of saying
that anybody can say anything but nobody has to take their
word for it, no matter how "famous" they are. Zsa Zsa
famously slapped a cop once, who was giving her a traffic
ticket. That doesn't say anything about cops, unless one is
a big Zsa Zsa fan I guess.

Is China socialist, communist, or capitalist? Is China failing, or
thriving?

So, I wonder if we could call China a capitalist dictatorship, then,
and if so, I wonder what kind of dictators are in charge? Are they
capatalist dictators, or are they socialist dictators?

I wonder how their income equality numbers compare to ours?

I wonder if there is a reliable Chinese Happiness index to look at?

You wonder about a lot of things. I can recommend Google.
