Stephen Bannon was not fired.

He resigned August 7th, 2017, and no announcement was made, so
Bannon and Trump could make fools of the liberal media one more
time together.

They succeeded.

Being "fired" sounds so much more dramatic to the left.
Bannon was another one who served his purpose and it was
time for him to go. He is a firebrand
Right now he is over in Europe telling them that it is
a badge of honor to be called a "racist". I do agree
with him on that.

President Trump's own words:

Michael Wolff is a total loser who made up stories in order to sell this
really boring and untruthful book. He used Sloppy Steve Bannon, who cried
when he got fired and begged for his job. Now Sloppy Steve has been dumped
like a dog by almost everyone. Too bad!
